Fabulous service from Mitch... great food great atmosphere... thanks team for great experience whilst in Merimbula. Highly recommended.
Had dinner about a week ago at Ritzy's in Merimbula. Found the place online. It was a wonderful highlight of a week spent driving the coast of South East Australia. The food was great with a themed of tapas like sharing plates. We had the stuffed mushrooms, beef and haloumi flat bread, grilled chorizo and scallops, pasta vongole with italian sausage and 3 other dishes. There is a nice Italian flair to the dishes which we attribute to the wonderful host Nanni. Nanni was engaging throughout the evening and very attentive although it is easier because we were sitting at the bar. Behind the bar, was also wonderfully engaging and accommodating, Dieter. The girls running the floor were very helpful and nice too. Food is great, the service is the same and Ritzy's was well worth the stop for us, two committed food snobs.
My wife and I had dinner at Ritzy on a Thursday night. The restaurant was not too busy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and provided great service. We chose the tapas platter for 2 which provided an interesting selection and was just the right size for us. We enjoyed all the tapas but particularly the combination of chorizo and scallops. We each had a cocktail - the Long Island iced tea was excellent, not swamped by an excessive amount of coke. We each had a dessert - the chocolate mousse with kahlua cream and coffee “soil” was outstanding. Overall, an excellent dining experience.
